Christmas Lights Spectacular is now in its fifth year of running and in 2010 attracted over 100,000 visitors.  Christmas Lights Spectacular has won the prestigious Hunter Region Tourism Award for ‘Best Festival or Event’ for three years running putting Hunter Valley Gardens Event into the Hall of Fame.

This years Christmas Lights Spectacular has an amazing new music and light display plus over a million Christmas lights on show throughout designated areas of Hunter Valley Gardens. The event includes a special visit from Santa, Santa photos, a range of entertainment, food and beverage stalls.

This year we bring a number of exciting NEW features including:

The Twelve Days of Christmas music and light display in the Border Garden
The cactus music and light display
Three Mega Trees that are 12m, 9m and 6m high
The entry and exit tunnel of light
Music and light display throughout the Storybook Garden
The greatest story ever told at the nativity scene

Entertainment and Food Area: Opens from 6:30pm – 10:00pm

Christmas Lights Display: Opens from 7:30pm - 10:00pm

Note Gardens will close at 4:00pm in the afternoon during Christmas Lights.

Roaming Entertainment: From 6:30pm – 10:00pm

Crowds will also be entertained by roaming performers and carolers throughout the event (Entertainment changes nightly and varies throughout the event).

Christmas Capers: 7:00pm & 8:00pm

A group of local young talent will be performing a range of up beat Christmas tunes including ‘Frosty the Snowman’ and ‘Jingle Bells’.

Santa: 6:30pm – 10:00pm

Santa will be onsite from 10th November – 24th December and children can have their ‘Santa’ Photo’s taken by D&V Photography, or simply sit on Santa’s knee to put in their Christmas wish list.

Storybook Garden Jumping Castle: 6:30pm – 10:00pm (Weather Permitting) $3.00 per ride

Amusement Rides: 6:30pm – 10:00pm (User pay): Cup and Saucer, Blue Moon and Clowns (Subject to change).
